- Select ‘Academic Records,’ then ‘ Transcripts. ‘
- Choose ‘View Unofficial Transcript ‘ from the dropdown.
- Choose the ‘Report Type’ for the transcript and follow on-screen instructions.
What is a DR grade FIU?
Courses dropped after the official Add/Drop Period are recorded on the transcript with a grade of “ DR ” (dropped). Students are financially liable for all courses dropped after the Add/Drop period. Students receiving an incomplete grade must complete the appropriate coursework within two semesters (including summer).
What is a passing grade FIU?
A passing grade is defined as D- or better. Please note that the repeat course policy for financial aid is separate from institutional academic polices regarding repeat courses.
How do I check my FIU application status?
To check your application status you will need your FIU Panther ID to log into your account. Please allow 2-3 business days to view your application status. Remember your login and check the dashboard for updates.
How do I send my transcripts to MDC?
To order by mail or email, students must complete and send a transcript request form, along with a photocopy of a valid picture ID. The mail request must be sent to Miami Dade College, Attention: Transcript Processing Services, 11011 S.W. 104 St., Room R301 Miami, Florida 33176-3393.
Do transfer students need high school transcripts?
Admitted transfer applicants You will be asked to submit official transcripts from all schools and colleges you have attended, including high school, regardless of your length of attendance or whether you believe the credit is transferable. Some campuses may request transcripts prior to admission.
How does P F affect GPA?
When you pass a pass/fail class, your GPA remains unaffected. In most cases, when you pass the class, the units count on your transcript toward reaching your graduation requirements. If you fail, though, the zero points can harm your GPA since you are adding zero points into your GPA calculation.
Is it too late to withdraw from a class?
Most colleges will give you specific deadlines to both add and drop classes. When you drop a class before the drop deadline, it’s as if it never happened. This means that it won’t show up on your transcripts and whatever grade you earned up until that point will disappear from your academic history.
Will I get my money back if I drop a class?
Dropping a class after the drop /add period has ended is considered a Withdrawal. You may withdraw from a course after the add/ drop period has ended with no grade penalty, however, you will not be eligible for a tuition refund and must still pay any outstanding balances owed to the college.

When a student drops a class, it disappears from their schedule. After the “ drop /add” period, a student may still have the option to Withdraw. Withdrawal usually means the course remains on the transcript with a “W” as a grade. It does not affect the student’s GPA ( grade point average ).
